Sylvan Woods Care Fund

__Sylvan Woods, an assisted living program, is dedicated to offering a quality living experience for residents needing assistance with activities of daily living. Residents do not receive Medicare or Medicaid reimbursment, nor is the program tax-supported. In response to the financial needs of some residents, the Foundation established the Sylvan Woods Care Fund. This fund provides supplemental assistance to those residents who over time may need help with monthly expenses.

__As one of the first couples to move into Pennsylvania Place in 1996, Dr. Arthur and Pearl Wormhoudt have seen the benefit of the Sylvan Woods Care Fund for assisted living residents and have chosen to support the fund financially. “We wanted to give something back to the place we call home,” says Pearl.
