Scholarships
Ottumwa Regional Health Foundation administers three scholarships,
each with its own eligibility guidelines and application forms.
Scholarships are awarded annually on a competitive basis.
Laboratory Control Ltd Health Career Scholarship
The Laboratory Control Ltd Health Career Scholarship was established
by the Foundation in 2004 to provide scholarship support for individuals
interested in pursuing a career in health care. The intent of the
scholarship program is to invest in the education of those students
that may look to southeast Iowa for employment in health care following
the completion of their studies. The range of awards is $500 to
$2500.

Nurse Practice Council/Colee’ Hospers Nursing Educational
Scholarship
The Nurse Practice Council/Colee’ Hospers Nursing Educational
Scholarship is awarded each year by the Ottumwa Regional Health
Center’s Nurse Practice Council to an associate of the Health
Center exemplifying enhancement of the nursing profession. Colee’ Hospers,
a long-serving nurse executive, is recognized through this scholarship
for her vision of excellence for nursing.

Patricia I. McBeth Memorial Nursing Scholarship
The family of Patricia I. McBeth awards this Memorial Nursing Scholarship
annually to an associate, or family member of an associate, of
the Ottumwa Regional Health Center. Mrs. McBeth served as a registered
nurse for a number of years at the Health Center and this scholarship
is provided in her honor.
