NURSING EDUCATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP

Eligibility Guidelines

The Nurse Practice Council/Colee’ Hospers Nursing Educational Scholarship is an annual award sponsored by the Ottumwa Regional Health Center’s Nurse Practice Council. The award serves to honor Colee’ Hospers, long-time nursing administrator, for her vision of nursing excellence at Ottumwa Regional Health Center. The scholarship is given to an associate(s) who exemplifies enhancement of the nursing profession.

The Nurse Practice Council’s Scholarship Task Force reviews applications with the selection
of awardees based on the following criteria:

• academic performance
• completed application
• scholastic references

Application materials must be submitted by March 31st of each year to the Foundation at:

ELIGIBILITY

Applicant must be an associate of Ottumwa Regional Health Center for at least six months
Applicant must be currently enrolled in a nursing program or enhancing nursing profession
Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 2.50
